Mental health is a state in which poeple are able to cope with, and adjust to, the reccurent stresses of everyday living in an acceptable way [Watkins, 2001; Koutoukidis, 2005]

Mental  health can define too as a satisfactory adjusment to one’s life stage and situation [Ebersole and Hess, 2001]

Or, mental health is relating to feelings of happiness, contentment and personal satisfaction with life’s achievements, as well as with feelings of optimism and hope [Fontaine and Flethcer, 1999; Stuart and Laraia, 2001]
